MORE THAN JUST A PRESCHOOL……

A cooperative preschool is usually described as a parent-run preschool program with a parent education component. But in reality, cooperative preschool programs are much more than that. Co-op preschools are a community of families that are dedicated to being actively involved in their child’s education. Besides providing a high quality, affordable learning environment for children, they also provide support in all areas for both adults and children. Co-op preschool programs attract families that know their child will be successful academically in the long run because of their dedication to being involved in their child’s school environment. That involvement is a lot of work, but the benefits to the children far out way the time spent. Any parent can drop their child off at a preschool, but it takes a special kind of parent to show their commitment to their child’s academic success and to the community of families enrolled.
